Dubai has Re-opened its Air Route to Foreign Citizens

Life in the Emirate of Dubai has returned to the old ways, with tourists “from all countries” who have taken two doses of a Covid-19 vaccination authorized by the World Health Organization are being welcomed. Also, residents of any UAE emirate and holders of “all types” of visas, including residence, employment, short or extended stay, and visit visas are now permitted to fly to Dubai.

To visit the UAE, residents must first get pre-travel clearance from the Federal Authority for Identity and Citizenship (ICA) or the General Directorate of Residency and Foreign Affairs (GDRFA). All other visa holders must provide a valid negative Covid-19 test certificate obtained by an authorized health service within 48 hours of the sample collection.

Dubai is now accessible to passengers from Bangladesh, Congo, India, Liberia, Namibia, Nepal, Nigeria, Pakistan, Sierra Leone, Sri Lanka, South Africa, Uganda, Vietnam, and Zambia which were previously banned. Visitors from any nation can apply for a visit visa to the UAE if they have been completely vaccinated with a WHO-approved jab.

Passengers with newly granted visit visas can now enter Dubai without the need for GDRFA or ICA clearance, according to the latest information. You must fulfill all the travel criteria for your destination, departure, and transit countries. Airlines have been instructed to ensure that all essential tests have been completed and that passengers who do not meet the criteria are not permitted to board. It is mandatory that passengers who do not follow the instructions will be held liable by the airline, and the travellers will be required to return to their nation of origin.
